Children & Animal Policy

To maintain a relaxing environment in the salon, the establishment has implemented a policy that restricts the presence of children and animals, with the exception of guide dogs. This policy aims to create a serene and comfortable atmosphere for all clients. Children and animals, while wonderful in their own right, can sometimes introduce noise, distractions, and potential disruptions that may not align with the desired ambiance of the salon. Guide dogs, on the other hand, are allowed due to their important role in assisting individuals with visual impairments, ensuring equal access and inclusion for all customers. By implementing this policy, the salon is striving to provide a peaceful and enjoyable experience for everyone who visits.

Patch Testing & Policy

Patch tests play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of clients undergoing certain treatments such as tinting, LVL (Lash Lift), HD Brow Sculpt, and ProPower Peels. These tests help to mitigate any potential allergic reactions or adverse skin reactions that a client might have to the products used in these treatments. The policy of requiring patch tests for these specific services is a standard practice in many salons and beauty establishments.

The policy also emphasises the importance of keeping these patch tests up-to-date. If more than 6 months have passed since a client’s last treatment, or if there have been changes in their medical history, it is essential to perform a new patch test. Medical conditions, allergies, or other factors can change over time, and this information ensures that the salon can provide safe and suitable treatments without risking any adverse reactions.

By adhering to this policy, the salon demonstrates its commitment to both the safety of its clients and the quality of its services. It ensures that clients can enjoy their desired treatments with confidence, knowing that their well-being is a top priority for the salon.

Nut Allergy Policy

It’s crucial for the salon to prioritise the safety and well-being of all its clients. Given that the salon is unable to guarantee a completely nut-free environment, it’s a responsible decision to not provide services to clients with nut allergies. This is a measure taken to avoid any potential allergic reactions and ensure the safety of those clients.

Clients with nut allergies should be informed clearly about this policy before making appointments, so they can make informed decisions about their visits to the salon. While it might be disappointing for clients with nut allergies, their safety remains the top concern, and the salon’s policy reflects that commitment

Cancellation Policy

It is important to communicate the salon’s cancellation and amendment policy clearly to clients. This policy helps the salon manage its schedule effectively and ensures that appointments are utilised efficiently. Here’s a summarised version of the policy:

Cancellation/Amendment Notice: Clients are required to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to the duration of their scheduled treatments.

Fees for Insufficient Notice: If a client fails to provide the required notice, they will be subject to a 50% fee for the cancelled treatment, or 50% of the original treatment cost. This fee must be paid prior to booking their next appointment or can be added to their next appointment.

This policy aims to balance the needs of the salon to maintain a steady schedule and accommodate other clients while also being fair to clients who might be affected by last-minute cancellations. By communicating this policy clearly, the salon sets clear expectations for its clients and ensures that appointments are managed effectively.

Gift Voucher Policy

The salon’s gift voucher policy is outlined as follows:

Validity Period: Gift vouchers are valid for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. This means that the recipient of the gift voucher must use it within this timeframe.

Presentation Requirement: To redeem a gift voucher, the recipient must present the physical voucher at the time of payment. This ensures that the voucher is used by the intended recipient.

Client Responsibility: It is the responsibility of the voucher holder to keep track of their voucher. The salon does not maintain records of purchased vouchers.

Lost Vouchers: If a gift voucher is misplaced or lost, the salon will not be able to redeem it. The voucher holder is accountable for the safekeeping of the voucher.

Redemption: You can redeem gift vouchers towards treatments and/or products. Please note that gift vouchers cannot be utilised for the purchase of additional gift vouchers.

By providing clear guidelines regarding gift vouchers, the salon aims to maintain a fair and organised system for voucher redemptions. This policy ensures that vouchers are used within their designated timeframe and encourages recipients to be responsible for their vouchers.
